surgery

As grandma's surgery approaches, I'm reminded of how near my God is! I read this poem and just had to post it. I pray it brings you comfort, as it did me.
Grandma will be going in at 05:30 to check in and get preped for surgery, then they plan to start surgery at 0800. I'll be sure to update you on how she does. I'm sure she will sail through, just like she did when she had her breast cancer surgery! She is such an amazing and strong woman!

May Jesus assure you that as you follow Him
you will never meet a fear He cannot conquer,
you will never face an enemy He cannot defeat,
you will never enter a battle He cannot win,
you will never have a need He cannot meet,
you will never face a temptation He cannot overcome,
you will never have a burden He cannot lift,
you will never face a problem He cannot solve,
you will never have a bondage He cannot break,
you will never have a moment when He does not care,
you will never have a time when He is not there.

I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]. Philippians 4:13 AMP

About Me

I work in a small rural hospital as an Ambulatory Surgery RN. I absolutely love my job! I'm also very active in my church and attend a woman's small group bible study. I also love spending time with my family and friends.
