Family

Last weekend our family had a mini family reunion. Dad's cousins from Florida and Oregon came through for a visit and we also had family from Sharon Springs, Kismet, and his brother also from Goodland. It was so nice to have everyone together for a great visit! Here are some fun pictures from our weekend!

My favorite little monkey!!! This kid has it all figured out. If he wanted something it was "Pease Aunt Amanda." How could I resist? He's too darn cute!!

Great-Grandpa and Aiden looking through a car book. This is Aiden's favorite magazine to get in the mail.

Poor Timmy! He got hit square in the nose at work with a cheeter bar. He got about 7 stitches, and a fabulous shiner. It goes around both eyes evenly; kinda looks like he put on eye liner!! I told him the purple brings out the blue in his eyes!! His nose is broke in 3 spots. He does not have to have surgery right now, but may need to have it repaired on down the road if it does not heal properly. Amazingly he has really not had any pain!

Aiden got ahold of the newspapers! He had them spread out all over the floor. We didn't care, because he was having a great time.

Great-Grandpa, Pappa, Daddy, and Aiden hanging out. Cathy (dad's cousin) is also hanging out in the background. I think Aiden enjoyed all the company...that meant he got some extra attention. He even carried on a conversation with Pam and Cathy about his time at the airport over lunch. Aiden got to see the planes come in and take off and he had a blast, and couldn't resist sharing his excitement with everyone!!

Cathy, Bob, Grandma, Sheila, Rex, and Jim. Jim, Sheila, and Rex are from Sharon Springs; we dont get to see them very often, even though they are only 30 miles away, except if we run into them at Wal Mart!! It was great to have them up for a visit!

Since we ate at the airport, Tim thought it would be fun to make airplanes for Aiden. Not to be outdone, Jessica and I had to make one, too! Tim is definately the better airplane maker. Here are a couple pictures of daddy teaching aiden to fly a paper plane and then Aiden giving it a try.

Aiden is a typical little boy...he loves dirt!! We were outside playing in the rocks and he was moving them around, then he exclaimes "DIRT"!! It was super cute. He played until it was time to get washed up for supper. He went and got the little garden hose...I believe he wanted to make mud!
