29 years

Over 29 years ago I was planned by my Heavenly Father--even before I was a twinkle in my parent's eye! He knit me together in the secret place of my mothers womb and saw to it that every intricate form was perfectly made. He has predetermined my every step and blessed each and every day!

I am so thankful He brought my parents together. And I'm incredibly thankful to my parents for walking with God and for raising me in a Christian environment. I'm deeply awed by God for the journey He has taken me on and for calling me to be a child of God.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My fram was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. ~Psalm 139:13-16

My parents came down this weekend to help me celebrate. Dad did a couple house projects, and mom and I did a little shopping. I really enjoyed having them here. I spent Monday relaxing! I got a massage, took a nap, and did a little shopping...all of my favorite things!!! I got a lot of well-wishes on facebook, some phone calls, cards, and FLOWERS for my birthday. It was a great day!

I did some laundry today. Notice the BIG black spots that are not a part of the pattern? An ink pen hid in my jacket or something. It EXPLODED in the laundry!!! My scrubs are now trash!

A weekend with my little man!

I have realized that I haven't posted in a few weeks. I recently went home for the weekend. I got a lot of Aiden time in. Aiden is now 3 and is suddenly growing up! While I was at home he had a birthday, told lots of funny stories, and learned how to ride his trike! He is such a big boy!!

Aiden watered the trees and blew a MILLION bubbles!

I never saw a kid who LOVED bubbles as much as him.

Momma enjoyed time with her lap-dog...Aiden couldn't resist joining in.

We celebrated Tim & Jessica's birthdays.

Aiden got birthday gifts from his favorite Aunt!

This boy loves ANYTHING John Deer.

Aiden was so excited to show Aunt Amanda how fast he could go

down the slide, and how he could swing using his legs.

He told me "My have to go in & out" with his legs.

We decorated flower pots for our mommies.

Aiden scooped the soil, planted the flowers, then watered him.

He had such a great time and was so excited to be able

to take care of the flowers!

Aiden turned 3, and with that comes new learning opportunities.

Aiden learned how to peddel his trike...what a big boy.

He was so excited to show off!!

That wasn't enough, though..he had to ride papa's bike too!

Easter 2011

Momma told Aiden that Aunt Amanda was coming home for the weekend and he says, "because she loves me?"
This little guy is so smart! We had lots of fun coloring eggs, playing, blowing bubbles, and giggling together.

I told Tim I'd be back for his birthday, and Aiden pipped up "Its my birthday, too!"
