Today is Palm Sunday. The calandar says it is Sunday, April 5. The weather report for today reads: "Cold, windy, high in the mid 30s."That's not what my brain is telling me. It is supposed to be SPRING...WARM WEATHER...FLOWERS POPPING UP OUT OF THE GROUND...TREES BUDDING....BIRDS CHIRPING....... Not a wind chill of -3 and temp of 20 something and the wind blowing so hard that you can not stand up straight!!!
When I imagine Palm Sunday I imagine warmth...green grass...tulips...all of the fun signs of spring. I believe Mother Nature is a bit confused this year. She gave us spring like weather in the winter and now we are getting our winter weather...in the spring! Who knew it would be snowy and icy on Palm Sunday??
